Grandma, just the name makes me smile. Your since of humor is what I will never forget. Just to watch you laugh would make anyone happy. The way your hand would come up over your mouth and your whole body would express your happiness. Your hugs were so strong, like you never wanted to let go, and I didn’t want you to. I’ve only eaten fried squirrel at your house, taste better than chicken, thank you for that. God was always with you and will be forever. Now you are an angel, but you always were to me, Grandma. I will never forget you! I love you, Joy Lynn

Paul: I’m really sorry to hear about your mom. I’ll always remember her and my mom singing their little duet…… “Little Brown Church in the Dale” at Christian Tabernacle on 28th street.

To my Grandmother, the most gentle woman I ever knew. Growing up she always put the people she loved first. She was the person that showed us unconditional love. Which taught us compassion. When our mom died she took over, even though she was greiving herself she didn’t let us see it. I am glad she is home with Grandpa and Mom once again. She will be missed here on earth from all of us.
I Love you Grandma and you will take a big peice of my heart with you. Thank you for teaching me how to love.

Aunt Lonnie was my mother’s (Zona) sister. She was fun to be around and liked to joke. She was a good cook and loved her family. My thoughts are with Teresa, Marlene and Paul and their families.
Annette Mittermeier says
Lonnie was my Great Aunt. I can remember when she and Uncle Josh used to ride the passenger trains to visit my Gramma(her sister) and Grampa in Grinnell, IA. They were such cut ups, seemed like they were laughing the whole time. Aunt Lonnie was such a joyful happy person. We will miss her very much.

When I think Of Lonnie Yes I think of someone who was always happy and making you laugh. To Paul I know how hard it is to give up your Mom. To Loretta’s girls I know this is a big loss to you also. Grandma’s are so special. To the rest of the family I know she was special to you also.
When I think of Lonnie today I see her greeting all her loved ones. The picture that comes to mind is of the cousins on the Cullum Rock together laughing and singing and having a good time. Now Lonnie has joined that group of Christian fun loving Coffey’s. They are all angles looking over us.
